ending it with a bomb

And that is the end of my string of assignment! I feel so light I can fly. Today, I'm showing off my groups final assignment. We have to design and build a sculpture and install it in a public area. We took about a day for planning and 24 hours for building.

We call it, The Rock. I think. We designed it to spice up the Bali Courtyard in our college. Yes, the courtyard has a Bali theme. It is like a Bali temple in the middle of nowhere. The Rock was inspired by the stone elements that are often present in Bali Temples.

The Rock looks different at different angles.

Our main constraint during the building stage was to connect the random planes (surfaces) together. Because the planes are so random, it was tough shit to estimate and to calculate the size of the planes in order to build the model.

The emphasis and main focus point is on the glass shards. We used Heineken beer bottles :D

the glass shards are placed on the crumpled aluminum foil for a better result in capturing the sunlight. and it works beautifully i tell ya
